Small Acts. Big Hope!
Small Acts. Big Hope!
Story
Hi! I’m Ru.
Back in March 2025, I found a little patch of alopecia areata on the left side of my scalp. Then by June… surprise the right side joined in too. Thankfully, with help from my doctor and some treatment, things got better, and after about three months, my hair grew back completely. 🙏🏽✨
Losing hair suddenly was honestly pretty shocking and sad. I got a small glimpse of how tough it can be… and it made me realize how much harder it must be for people going through more severe hair loss. 💛
A few weeks ago, I noticed my alopecia had come back again. But this time, I felt different about it. Instead of feeling upset, I had a little “aha!” moment 💡—my long hair could actually become something meaningful for someone else!
So… I’ve decided to cut my hair and donate it ✂️💇♀️
I also learned that making wigs isn’t just about having enough healthy hair—it also takes funding to turn that hair into something wearable and beautiful.
That’s why I’m starting this fundraiser (my very first one). If you’d like to support or join me on this little journey, I’d be super grateful.
Let’s make something good happen together! 💕
