Hey friends and family! I’m doing this all over again after 2.5 years!! It fills my heart with gratitude and joy for being able to give, give more than I take 🤍

I'll be supporting Australia Alopecia Areata Foundation Inc. which provides support to those with all forms of Alopecia Areata and their families.

The word 'Alopecia' means hair loss. It is a condition where people suffer from bald patches, hair is lost from the scalp or elsewhere in the body. There is currently no cure and is most commonly present during childhood. It is a lifelong condition that can deeply affect self-esteem, confidence and mental health. Being self-conscious can bottle up heaps of anxiousness, and it can be super traumatic at times. Self-confidence is one of the greatest power a human can possess, and kids who suffer from Alopecia need the self-confidence to fight their everyday struggles. Inner voice and the mind can be so powerful for every one of us to go on about our day positively.

Growing up with thick long hair, I often got compliments about my hair and that definitely boosted my confidence. Since my last hair donation, I’ve been patiently growing out my hair to do it all over again and I’m super keen to share the happiness, self-confidence and gratitude with someone in need :) 

My last hair donation was 43cm long with a collection of $196 and this year my target is 45cm long hair with $200 of donation. I'm still growing my hair out for a healthy hair donation and am currently sitting at 42cm, will be chopping it off real soon!
