Story
In early 2024 I will be running 100km from Melbourne to Portsea to raise awareness for Alopecia which affects approximately 160 million people worldwide and can have drastic impacts on anyone's life.
Since 2017, Alopecia has been a significant part of my life, a journey marked by both challenges and resilient times. I personally witnessed a drastic transformation in my hair's appearance. I went from having a full head of hair to experiencing the disheartening reality of losing over half of it.
All donations to AAAF will go to help spread awareness as well as assist with research to aim to find a solution to cure alopecia.
Your generosity can help bring about positive change, inspire hope, and ultimately lead to a brighter future for individuals living with Alopecia.

Australia Alopecia Areata Foundation Inc. (AAAF), is established to be the national Australia body supporting research to find a cure or acceptable treatment for all forms of Alopecia Areata, support those with the disease and their families, and inform the public about all forms of Alopecia Areata.
Our Service philosophy is to give each person the best chance of managing their alopecia journey positively, the whole family and each individual needs to be supported to manage their unique experience. By reducing the financial and emotional stress and enabling children, young people, adults and their support networks to develop their strengths and skills, AAAF assists the whole family to achieve that positive journey.
