Story
While most of the reason why I have grown my hair so long is just pure laziness, part of it is also that I have alopecia. Its super easy to hide any bald patch that occurs under a mountain of hair, and over the past few years I have experienced more and more instances of concentrated hair loss due to a multitude of factors (surgery, stress ect).
I will be cutting my hair to donate at the end of February, and I would appreciate any donation, however small, to support the program run by the AAAF to grant wigs to children with alopecia.

(AAAF), is established to be the national Australia body supporting research to find a cure or acceptable treatment for all forms of Alopecia Areata, support those with the disease and their families, and inform the public about all forms of Alopecia Areata.
Our Service philosophy is to give each person the best chance of managing their alopecia journey positively, the whole family and each individual needs to be supported to manage their unique experience. By reducing the financial and emotional stress and enabling children, young people, adults and their support networks to develop their strengths and skills, AAAF assists the whole family to achieve that positive journey.
