Story
Hi everyone!!! 🤗
After 6 years of having my hair cut, donated the hair for wig and raised funds to help kids who cannot grow their own hair with the condition called Alopecia…..Guess what my hair is long again!!!
And it’s time for me to donate them again and hopefully raise funds with your help and if you have spare funds to donate that would be much appreciated by me specially the beneficiaries of this great course.
Who will cut my hair????
Last December 2019 I went to our local salon to have it cut…..BUT this time…..It will be our two teenage granddaughters who will cut my hair (I’m sure they’ll have fun! 😂) and will feel good too to be part of this fund raiser and hair for wig donation for kids!
We will run the charity fund raising online for a week from today Wednesday, 1st October 2025 to Wednesday 7th October 2025…
And the big hair cut day will be Wednesday, 8th October 2025 while we are together with the grandchildren school holiday!

Donating your hair to be made into a wig for someone who cannot grow hair of their own is a generous gift and rewarding experience.
All hair donated to AAAF is sent wig makers who specialize in making hair pieces for medical purposes. We receive funds from the wig makers and these go to support our Wigs For Kids program, which provides financial grants to help families with the costs of wigs. So your hair donation helps kids with Alopecia Areata twice!
