Hi friends...
It is with equal parts excitement and trepidation to share with you that I am getting the big chop in May 2018 and donating my hair to AAAF - sorry about the delay - I have been distracted with growing a human who will be making his arrival July 2018 <3
AAAF is a charity which, through Oz and NZ based wig companies, provides people who have medical hair loss (like from Alopecia Areata and cancer treatment) with wigs at a heavily reduced price.
AAAF's also has a Wigs for Kids Program which provides financial grants to young Australians with Alopecia Areata and their families to help even further with the costs of purchasing a wig. Each grant is $400 so I have set a target to fundraise enough for 5 grants ($2000).
Any amount you can contribute is super appreciated and will be repaid to you via hugs from me.

(AAAF), is established to be the national Australia body supporting research to find a cure or acceptable treatment for all forms of Alopecia Areata, support those with the disease and their families, and inform the public about all forms of Alopecia Areata.
Our Service philosophy is to give each person the best chance of managing their alopecia journey positively, the whole family and each individual needs to be supported to manage their unique experience. By reducing the financial and emotional stress and enabling children, young people, adults and their support networks to develop their strengths and skills, AAAF assists the whole family to achieve that positive journey.
