Story
Sometimes the biggest hearts come in the smallest people. 💛
Our 9 year old daughter Kobie has made the incredibly brave decision to cut 36cm off her long hair so it can be donated to be made into wigs for people living with alopecia.
For many people, losing their hair isn’t just about appearance - it can affect confidence, identity, and how they feel walking out into the world each day. A wig made from donated hair can help someone feel like themselves again.
When Kobie learned about this, she didn’t hesitate. She simply said she wanted to help.
So along with donating her hair, she is also raising money for the Alopecia Foundation to help support the people and families who live with this condition every day.
As her parents, we couldn’t be prouder of the kindness and compassion she’s showing at such a young age. It takes a lot of courage for a little girl to give up that much of her hair, but she’s doing it so someone else can smile when they look in the mirror.
