Story
Thank you for clicking on this link to check out why I'm fundraising for AAAF, weather it was via social media, chatting to friends or a general search to support AAAF thank you!
My friends would tell you that I love to give back whenever I can!!! They would also tell you that they wouldn't really know how long my hair is because I always have it in two styles. The Messy bun and the side part, side bun. Ha ha!! Its only down for special occasions. And its true!
Little did they know (except a couple) I've actually been growing it for over 2 years to donate to AAAF (who will then send my hair to wig makers who specialize in making hair pieces for medical purposes)
Ebony from The House of Kukla will be doing the chop on 14th Feb, yep that's right on Valentines day and to back it up I have a fundraising goal of $1400.
So can AAAF be your Valentine!! XXOO
I know that most of you already give lots of love and dosh to many beautiful & worthwhile charities and so I ask give what you can, it all adds up.
All funds raised will go to support the AAAF Wigs For Kids program, which provides financial grants to help families with the costs of wigs. 1 wig can cost up to $6000.

(AAAF), is established to be the national Australia body supporting research to find a cure or acceptable treatment for all forms of Alopecia Areata, support those with the disease and their families, and inform the public about all forms of Alopecia Areata.
Our Service philosophy is to give each person the best chance of managing their alopecia journey positively, the whole family and each individual needs to be supported to manage their unique experience. By reducing the financial and emotional stress and enabling children, young people, adults and their support networks to develop their strengths and skills, AAAF assists the whole family to achieve that positive journey.
