Story
My name is Venice, I received lots of compliment because of my hair, which makes me feel beautiful. Since God blessed with with beautiful hair, I wanted to be a blessing to others. I thought of donating my hair so it will turn to a special wig that kids with Alopecia (condition they can't grow hair) will be able to wear it and makes them feel beautiful too. I wish to have my haircut on December, so my hair will grow bit more to reach the ideal hair length and to give as my Christmas gift to the kids who will receive my hair . My mum set this fundraiser to show me there are lots of kind people who will support me with my kind thought. All the donations will go directly to AAAF.

All hair donated to AAAF is sent wig makers who specialize in making hair pieces for medical purposes. We receive funds from the wig makers and these go to support our Wigs For Kids program, which provides financial grants to help families with the costs of wigs. So your hair donation helps kids with Alopecia Areata twice!

(AAAF), is established to be the national Australia body supporting research to find a cure or acceptable treatment for all forms of Alopecia Areata, support those with the disease and their families, and inform the public about all forms of Alopecia Areata.
Our Service philosophy is to give each person the best chance of managing their alopecia journey positively, the whole family and each individual needs to be supported to manage their unique experience. By reducing the financial and emotional stress and enabling children, young people, adults and their support networks to develop their strengths and skills, AAAF assists the whole family to achieve that positive journey.
